An opportunity to discover the power of storytelling and role of storytellers in the 21st century. Each day features keynote stories, talks, discussions and workshops in open sessions, allowing for shared reflection ahead of the evening’s storytelling performances.
How do traditional and contemporary stories take us into a shared experience of ‘the wild’? Are gardens a place where humanity and the natural world converse and commune? How can storytellers channel these experiences and open doors in tactful and inviting ways? Contributions from Donald Smith, Margot Henderson, Joanna Geyer-Kordesch and Giovanna Conforto.
Please note this event is taking place at the Botanic Cottage, Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. Lunch not included, but catering options on site.
*Tickets only now available on the day by calling the Storytelling Centre Box Office on 0131 556 9579*
